This panorama, taken by Christopher Gjevre, captures the action of the Eastern Washington University football team playing its inaugural game on its new red Sprinturf surface at newly re-named Roos Field (formerly Woodward Field). The opponent for the Eagles on this historic day on September 18, 2010, was its Big Sky Conference rival, the University of Montana Grizzlies. The Eagles broke a 27-all tie with a field goal with four seconds remaining, then iced the victory on the final play of the game with a 34-yard fumble return for a touchdown. The final score of 36-27 will go down as one of the greatest victories in school history. Established in 1882, the University’s main campus is located in Cheney, Washington.

This print is also available STANDARD FRAMED with a thin black frame (no matting) for $99.99, and UNFRAMED in a tube for $29.99. Please contact us if you’re interested in purchasing this print in a different format.
